Lancaster City police chief departs from role after four months

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The City of Lancaster announced Tuesday that Easton McDonald will no longer be serving as police chief.

Officials said the decision was made mutually by McDonald and city leadership, effective June 9.

“We thank Chief McDonald for his service to the Bureau of Police and the Lancaster community,” Mayor Jaime Arroyo said. “Public safety remains a key priority, and I am focused on supporting the bureau during this transition.”…
