LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Elizabethtown Area School District approved its final budget for the upcoming school year with a surplus of more than $300,000 after a nearly $1 million deficit heading into the 2025-2026 school year.
The new budget comes after several months of review and refinement, according to the school district. The budget development process identified more than $2.4 million in savings through operational efficiencies, staffing adjustments, retirements, and other reported cost-saving measures.
