Woman charged with attempted murder after Downingtown shooting, D.A. says

A 60-year-old woman from West Chester was charged with attempted murder after shooting a person and threatening their life in Downingtown on Sunday, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office said.

According to the D.A.’s office, officers responded to the 200 block of Chestnut Street at some point on July 19 for a reported shooting. When they arrived inside the home, they said they found the suspect, Debra Dora, still in possession of a firearm.

Dora was taken into custody and the victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, the D.A.’s office said…
