LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — After storms left fallen trees and branches across much of Lancaster County, Manheim Township Public Works officials have shared that they plan to be finished with debris removal from storms that took place just weeks ago.
Public roads, rights-of-way and Township parks should be cleared by this Friday, July 24th, officials say.
“In Landis Woods Park, both entrances remain open, and the Boettcher House facility is safely accessible. However, the remainder of Landis Woods Park continues to be marked as closed until further notice, for safety reasons,” the Township shared in a press release. “All trails are blocked, and the park is not safe for use due to the number of trees down and hanging branches. The Township respectfully requests that all residents adhere to this closing and do not enter the park (other than Boettcher House) for any reason for their own safety.”…
