YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Police in York County are warning the public about a scam targeting residents.
The York County Regional Police Department said that scammers are impersonating deputies from the York County Sheriff’s Office in phone, text, and email schemes demanding immediate payment for fake warrants, missed jury duty, and civil fines.
