West Lebanon woman charged after dead dog found in cooler on porch

A 50-year-old West Lebanon Township woman has been charged with animal cruelty after the Lebanon County Regional Police Department alleged her dead dog was placed in a cooler and found on a front porch in the city.

Holly Ondeck has been charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal, neglect of animals and disorderly conduct.

On April 17, regional police were dispatched to the Rutter’s on 1621 W. Cumberland St. for a reported animal cruelty case. Earlier that day, Lebanon City Police received a report of a black dog, later identified as a Bichon Frise named Nakita, found deceased inside a black cooler on the front porch of a North Fifth Street residence…
