YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Firefighters in York County provided an update on a “backcountry rescue” operation at Susquehanna Riverlands State Park last week.
Wrightsville Fire took to social media to share the update, saying crews responded to a reported special rescue at the state park in Hellam Township last week.
The fire company said that crews located the victim, who was suffering a medical emergency, in a densely wooded trail in the park.
