Leacock Township Crash Leaves Honda Accord Suspended on Guard Wire at Lancaster County Intersection After Pickup Rear Ends Turning Car Saturday Afternoon

LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — A weekend crash in Leacock Township left a Honda Accord hanging over a guard wire at an intersection in Lancaster County. Pennsylvania State Police said the wreck happened Saturday afternoon and involved a GMC Sierra and the Accord.

Troopers said no one was hurt. They also said it is still unknown whether anyone will be cited or charged.

The Crash

The collision happened around 3:40 p.m. Saturday near Old Philadelphia Pike and Pond Road. According to troopers, the GMC Sierra was traveling behind the Honda Accord on Old Philadelphia Pike.

State police said the Accord slowed and began a left turn onto Pond Road. The Sierra driver was unable to slow down in time and struck the Accord.
