A person is in custody and the Parkway West is back open after a large police presence shut down the highway on Thursday afternoon.
Both directions of the Parkway West between the I-79 and Route 121/Greentree/Mt. Lebanon interchanges were shut down on Thursday due to police activity, PennDOT said.
