LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A New York man has been sentenced up to nine years in prison after setting an apartment complex on fire in Lancaster that displaced several residents, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
Husani Laviscount, 38, plead guilty on October 1 to the following charges after an investigation by police:
- Arson
- Burglary
- Risking catastrophe
- Criminal mischief
- Recklessly endangering another person
Officials state that in April 2021, Laviscount broke into a unit of the Kensington Club apartment complex and started a fire. Laviscount then drove away from the scene and back to his home in Queens, New York.
