As the leaves fall and the holidays get closer, the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds has two very different events lined up for November: an evening honoring Central Pennsylvania’s sports standouts and a weekend of gemstones, minerals and one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
Central PA Sports Hall of Fame Banquet – Monday, November 9
The Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame will hold its 55th annual Induction and Awards Banquet at the Expo Center. The evening honors athletes and community members who have shaped sports in the region.
The 2026 Hall of Fame inductees are:
- Logan Fullmer
- Jim Collins Jr.
- David Bentz
- Melaine Spangler (Monk)
- Leslie Heidebaugh
- Scott Mailen
Denny Wentling will receive the Community Service Award. The male and female Pop Kelchner Award winners, Cameron Sweeney and Kaddel Howard, will also be honored, and each will receive a scholarship.
Dinner is a catered buffet, and a cash bar with beer will be available. If you or someone in your group is a past Hall of Fame inductee, organizers would like to recognize you at the dinner. Include your name and the year you were inducted when you make your reservation…
