Red-tailed hawk found trapped in Lancaster County powerlines recovering

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – A red-tailed hawk found trapped in electrical wires is on the road to recovery. According to the Raven Ridge Wildlife Center, the juvenile hawk was found stunned and unable to free herself from powerlines on Jan. 10. As PPL arrived at the scene with proper equipment, they were able to loosen the lines and the bird dropped to the ground.
