The heaviest rain is falling this morning then it lets up becoming more showery. There may be a break in steady rain but drizzle and dreary conditions will be on-going. As the secondary low forms, colder air wraps in across the Valley. Wet snow may mix with rain across northwest counties in the higher terrain areas. So far, many areas have picked up a half inch of rain. Another third to half inch is possible bringing totals close to three-quarters to one inch. Isolated spots may exceed one inch. Temperatures are in the low 40s now and holds steady for much of the day before they fall into the 30s late in the day. Tonight, winds pick up out of the north-northwest 10-20 with higher gusts. Skies are mostly cloudy. Flurries are possible but they will be spotty.
