Ganow, who was flying solo at the time of the accident, was a respected leader, known for his unwavering commitment to the district’s education system and community.
The crash site, located on the 500 block of Old Wilmington Road, quickly became the focus of emergency services and aviation authorities. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), alongside the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), has initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the tragic incident.
The aircraft, owned by Mr. Dent Inc., a company based in Manheim, Lancaster County, is known for its association with the restoration of vintage airplanes and vehicles, featuring in episodes on the popular YouTube channel “Rebuild Rescue.”
