Fourth man charged with homicide from deadly 2022 gang-related shooting in York

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — Police have filed homicide charges against a fourth person in connection with a deadly gang-related shooting in York in 2022.

Furman Dennis III, 21, of York, was arrested and charged Tuesday with criminal homicide and conspiracy in the deadly shooting that happened July 6, court documents show. He is currently locked up in York County Prison with bail denied.

Shaheim Carr, 27, was shot and killed on W. Philadelphia Street in broad daylight. Officials say he was a member of a gang that had a history of violence with a different gang in the city.

Three other men, Rashad Colon, 22, Antonio Jones, 24, and Jacquez Brown, 28 , also face homicide and murder charges as well. They are also in prison with bail denied as well.

According to a criminal complaint, Dennis was identified as one of the shooters through video surveillance, a photo that showed him wearing some of the same clothes weeks before the deadly shooting and phone records.
