17-year-old faces over 300 charges in Pennsylvania school bus shooting

CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A teenager is facing over 300 charges for his involvement in a shooting where a Pennsylvania school bus was struck.

Jaki White-Marshall 17, of Coatesville, was arrested Friday and faces a total of 345 charges, including attempted murder, as an adult for shooting at a Coatesville Area School District school bus on Thursday, Oct. 10, court records state. He is facing more than 30 counts each of felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, simple assault, among other charges.

He was arraigned Thursday and committed to the Chester County Youth Center, unable to post $1 Million bail.

The Chester County District Attorney’s Office took to Facebook to announce the arrest made by the City of Coatesville Police Department.

Four people wearing masks were involved in the shooting, which happened in the area of Hope Avenue and Madison Street. The post states one of the gunmen fired six shots, while another fired two shots, meaning that two different guns were used.
