Maryland Native, William H. Macy Spotted Visiting Family In PA, Locals Want Him Left Alone

Popular actor, William H. Macy, of Maryland was spotted shopping with family in Pennsylvania, and the locals took to social media to ask on his behalf to express that he should be left alone.

The 74-year-old star is known for is known for his Oscar-nominated role as Jerry Lundegaard in the 1996 cult-classic Fargo, as well as playing Frank Gallagher in Shameless for 10 years, and the role Dr. David Morgenstern on ER where he was a cast member and guest star for five years, as Daily Voice mentioned over the years when he has previously been spotted in Pennsylvania.

To many Pennsylvanians, Bill Macy is also known as just another man with a family in the Ephrata area. Macy was a 1968 graduate of Allegany High School in Cumberland, MD. His family stayed in the area when he went on to study veterinary medicine at Bethany College in West Virginia before transferring to study acting at Goddard College in Vermont, as he has explained in numerous interviews throughout the years.

He was seen shopping in Ephrata on Friday afternoon and evening on Oct. 18.
