(WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced March dates for an I-80 bridge demolition.
The bridge, which spans Route 26 on I-80 eastbound, will start being demolished as part of the High-Speed Interchange project. Demolition will begin at mile marker 160 on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21.
The work is part of a project that will enhance traffic safety by creating a direct connection between I-80 and I-99.
