Multiple cows shot dead in Lancaster County; police investigating

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Pennsylvania State Police are looking for suspects who reportedly shot and killed multiple cows in Lancaster County.

According to State Police in Lancaster, on March 15 at around 11:10 a.m., police were dispatched to the 100 block of School House Road in Colerain Township for a report of animal cruelty.

Police say upon arrival, authorities learned that unknown actors fired multiple shots at two cows. The cows were struck several times and were found deceased in the morning by the owner, per police.
