Susquehanna River assault case advances to court

LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster County man charged with raping an intoxicated underage girl on a Susquehanna River island will have his case proceed to county court following a preliminary hearing last week, prosecutors said.

Judge William Mankin ruled last Thursday that the case of Salvador Villa-Del Toro, of the first block of Old Holtwood Road, could proceed to the Court of Common Pleas on charges of rape of an unconscious victim, two counts of indecent assault, two counts of aggravated assault, corruption of minors, sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and failure to register an automobile.
