Gabriel Sullivan was charged with Careless Driving Resulting in Unintentional Death, following an investigation by the Susquehanna Regional Police Department and the Northwest Lancaster County Crash Team. The charge stems from a fatal three-vehicle crash on Sunday, July 7, 2024, that left Columbia resident Kyle Costrello dead, police announced Friday, March 28.
Sullivan was driving west on Anderson Ferry Road around 5:47 p.m. when he crossed into the eastbound lane turning onto Ore Mine Road in East Donegal Township. His Oldsmobile Ciera struck a motorcycle being operated by Costrello, who was traveling eastbound, police said.
Costrello was ejected from his bike and killed. After the initial impact, Sullivan’s vehicle continued and struck a Ford Bronco that was stopped at a nearby stop sign. Sullivan and the occupants of the Bronco were not injured…
