Police: Man charged from bladed garden tool assault in Lebanon County

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man is accused of assaulting another man with a garden tool Thursday in Lebanon County, charging documents show.

Lebanon County Regional police said in the charges that Gerald Henning, 64, of Ephrata, is accused of striking the man three times with a bladed garden tool in the 800 block of Maple Street in North Lebanon around 3 p.m.

The victim was found in the basement of the home, holding a towel to his head, after police responded to the residence for a reported stabbing.
