Man taking out trash robbed at gunpoint in Harrisburg, 1 charged; police

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A man taking out the trash had his gold jewelry snatched from him by three people who held him at gunpoint and assaulted him with a pistol in Harrisburg, according to police.

Sakye Franklin, 18, of Harrisburg, is accused of working with two other people in the armed robbery that happened along S 13th Street around 8 p.m. Saturday, March 22, police said in the charges filed.

As the man was taking out the trash, the trio, including Franklin, came over to him and one of them had a gun. Police said they made the man walk to the rear of the property, and one of the suspects threatened to kill him while pointing the gun…
