BRIDGEPORT — A former Pennsylvania man was sentenced Thursday in Bridgeport to 7 years in prison for trafficking heroin and cocaine into the Hartford area, federal officials said.
Israel Mendoza, also known as “D-Nice” and “Israel Mandosa,” a 45-year-old from Reading, Pennsylvania, was also sentenced to three years of supervised release, acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut Marc Silverman said in a news release. He pleaded guilty Oct. 1 to conspiracy to distribute, and to possess with intent to distribute, heroin and cocaine, Silverman said.
