Man from Lancaster sentenced after pleading guilty to shooting woman in 2024

LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to shooting a woman multiple times in 2024.

According to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, Dervin Mateo-Berrios, 51, was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison by Judge Dennis Reinaker. Reinaker also sentenced Mateo-Berrios to pay more than $147,500 in restitution to the victim.
