17-year-old boys killed in separate central Pa. crashes

Two 17-year-old boys died in Lancaster County crashes one day apart last week, the coroner’s office said.

Lucas Edwards, 17, of Honey Brook, was going 60 mph around a bend in Twin County Road when he lost control at about 7:36 p.m. on April 22 near Ash Road in Caernarvon Township, according to police and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.

The coroner’s office said Edwards’ 2005 Honda Accord hit a dirt embankment and rocks alongside Twin County Road. The Honda then went across the double-yellow lines and hit trash cans and several trees, Pennsylvania State Police said…
