LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A police department in Lancaster County is getting eight new vehicles with a new look.
The new design for Manheim Township’s fleet features a black and blue color scheme and the department’s badge. New features include a cargo management system, perimeter protection technology and rooftop decals for drone identification.
“The officers are very excited to have the thought and effort put into these cars,” Chief Duan Fisher said. “They realize that these are designed they’re not just thrown out. There is basic equipment for them to get by. It’s something with done with purpose and meaning for their safety and protection and to help them do their job protecting the public the best they can.”
