5 juveniles released from custody after stolen car chase, fleeing into Ephrata woods

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Four juveniles were taken into custody and later released after allegedly leading a stolen car on a chase and fleeing into a wooded area in Lancaster County.

During routine patrol, Cumru Township Police Department attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a stolen Hyundai sedan that was from Pottstown, according to state police.

The Hyundai failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated, troopers said. Pennsylvania State Police patrolling Reading joined the pursuit, which went south on 222 towards Lancaster County…
