Police searching for man wanted for attempted homicide in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Police are searching for a man wanted for attempted homicide, among other charges, in Lancaster County.

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, David Porter Jr. is charged with Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

The Bureau says authorities responded to the first block of Caroline Street and encountered an unharmed female victim. Police say the victim reported that she was sitting in her vehicle when Porter Jr. allegedly fired multiple shots in her direction.

The Bureau says the victim’s vehicle sustained two bullet holes, but the victim was able to avoid injury. Porter Jr. allegedly fled the scene on foot, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, per police…
