Advocates express frustration over homeless encampment sweeps at Culliton Park

LANCASTER, Pa. — Homeless advocates are raising concerns about a number of encampment sweeps at Culliton Park that were carried out by Lancaster City Police.

The sweeps come amid an increase in police patrols of the park on Water Street after several people were charged with public drinking and drug use in late June.
