Emergency crews raced to an Earl Township farmland Friday morning after a horrifying scene unfolded at the intersection of North Shirk and West Huyard roads. At approximately 10:55 a.m., dispatchers confirmed a child had been run over by a tractor in a “trauma alert” situation—though fortunately, dispatchers clarified the youngster was not in cardiac arrest, still under evaluation after being rolled over by a farm vehicle.
