Damage assessments ongoing after Lancaster County flooding

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– There is now a declaration of disaster in one Lancaster County community after intense storms brought heavy rain to the area on Monday.

A severe flash flooding event prompted the Mount Joy Borough Council to declare an emergency at 5 p.m. on Monday. Here’s how things look on Tuesday morning.
