LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster man, Michael Torres, 27, is facing charges for aggravated assault and child endangerment after he broke a toddler’s leg after they would not fall asleep, police report stated.
On July 20 at about 7:36 a.m., police responded to Lancaster General Hospital for a child welfare call. Police said a 3-year-old child had been found to be the subject of a child abuse.
Police said they spoke with Torres, who admitted that he struck the child with an open palm about three or four times, really hard, over the victim’s right upper thigh area…
