In response to a heat advisory issued for the region, Mayor Eddie Morán has announced that Schlegel Pool will offer free admission to City of Reading residents Wednesday, July 30, and Thursday, July 31 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
“With the continuation of high temperatures expected and our community’s safety in mind, we are opening Schlegel Pool to city residents free of charge,” said Mayor Eddie Morán. “Staying cool and hydrated is critical in this heat. Please take advantage of this opportunity and also be sure to check in on your neighbors or family members who may not have access to air conditioning.”
Should the pool reach capacity, residents are reminded that all seven of the City’s Splash Pads will be ON from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Find a splash pad near you here…
