Police finally cracked the case on a complex, multi-dealership heist in which three criminals made off with three luxury cars. Here’s how they did it–and who’s behind bars.
Three criminals smashed the window to a Lancaster, Pennsylvanian dealership’s office. Then they started grabbing keys for luxury cars. They raced off in one Range Rover and two Mercedes-Benz vehicles. But that wasn’t their final stop.
The same three criminals then broke into Toyota of York and grabbed three dealership registration plates. They seemed to think the dealership registrations–from another dealership–would keep them under the radar as they escaped with the cars.
How the dealership car heist failed
