The country’s oldest and continuously operating all-girls school has a new leader, Shauna Carter, who took over on July 1 as head of school for the 2025-26 school year.
Carter is the new leader of Linden Hall, a private boarding school in Lititz that enrolls nearly 100 girls in grades 6-12. Most recently, Carter served as middle school director at another prestigious all-girls school – The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
