York County SPCA hopes to ‘Clear the Shelters’—here’s what to expect before you adopt

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The York County SPCA is preparing for what could be one of its busiest weekends of the year, as it joins shelters across the country for the annual “Clear the Shelters” campaign.

With adoption fees being waived, the event aims to find forever homes for dozens of local animals—including more than 40 dogs, cats and several small animals that are older than six months.
