Shots-fired incident draws large police response to Exeter Twp. neighborhood

EXETER TWP., Pa. – Law enforcement officials descended upon an Exeter Township neighborhood today after a shooting incident prompted their response.

Officers were dispatched to a stretch of Oley Turnpike Road late this morning for report of shots fired.

Berks County District Attorney John Adams confirmed the shooter, whose identity has not been released, fired a gun from the window of a residence. DA Adams says the shooter was found dead inside the residence from what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound…
