After nearly 200 years, Lancaster County gets a new prison

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Outside, it looks like a castle, but on the inside, it’s anything but a palace.

Built in the 1850s, the Lancaster County Prison has been home to countless inmates and staff who, over nearly two centuries, watched the castle crumble.
