Crews respond to fire at Purina Mills pet food plant in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — According to dispatch, emergency crews are on the scene of a reported fire at the Purina Mills plant in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County on Friday morning.

The fire reportedly broke out at about 6:21 a.m. and was extinguished around 11 a.m., according to East Hempfield Township Fire Department Chief John Kottmyer.
