Man charged after rollover DUI crash that injured 2 teens, broke girl’s leg: DA

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An Elizabeth Township man is facing numerous felony charges after he allegedly injured two teenagers in a DUI crash, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

Brandon Hooper, 26, is facing multiple charges after a head-on collision on May 18, including the following:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI
  • Aggravated assault by vehicle
  • Fleeing/attempting to elude police
  • DUI
  • Reckless driving

Officials state that Hooper was first pulled over by police in the 500 block of South Broad Street around 2:30a.m. after officers observed him driving erratically. Hooper then reportedly sped away from the scene during the traffic stop and ran a red light.

Police then engaged in a short pursuit with Hooper who then crashed his car into another vehicle on Lexington Road and State Route 501. Hooper allegedly told police that he drove away from the traffic stop because he was scared…
