Lancaster man charged with 2 shootings within hours has case go to county court

LANCASTER, Pa. — Following a preliminary hearing, the case of a Lancaster man charged with two shootings in a matter of hours is proceeding to county court.

According to the Office of Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams, Magisterial District Judge John Bender ruled on Aug. 13 that the case of Tyree Jamal Dixon, 33, could proceed to the Court of Common Pleas on two counts of attempted criminal homicide, four counts of aggravated assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and four firearms violations.
