Aug. 26—Investigators are waiting for the results of DNA analysis before deciding how to proceed with the case of two human skulls found in a West Earl Township field in June.
“We won’t know which direction to pursue until the remains are identified,” West Earl Township police Chief Eric Higgins said Tuesday. “Our focus is on that identification, and the investigation is being handled in accordance with our policy. In addition, we are reviewing nationwide missing persons reports to explore potential leads.”
Higgins said nothing has been ruled out, including foul play or a potential farm burial plot. The area where the skulls were found between East Newport and Rose Hill roads is mostly farmland…
