Gun violence down in York despite Monday shooting, police say

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — A man shot Monday in York is expected to survive.

The 41-year old man, who was shot around 9 p.m. on Pershing Avenue, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He’s the fifth non-fatal shooting this year.
