Coalition to End Homelessness representatives gave a snapshot of homelessness in the community to Lebanon city officials and said those numbers are increasing for children in the city.
Coalition spokesperson Laurie Funk presented council members with the summer Point-In-Time Count, also known as PIT, during their meeting Aug. 25. Volunteers were able to find individuals who were unsheltered during the Aug. 6 event, and were able to connect several of them to different county programs.
“We all see people out there each and every day, particularly on the corner of Willow and 7th St.,” Funk, the 2025 PIT Count Coordinator, said to council members. “We were able to identify 14 people that particular night.”…
