YORK, Pa. (WHP) — A bill banning rapid-fire devices, also called machine gun converters, in the City of York will now head to the mayor’s desk following councilmembers’ approval Tuesday night.
Councilmembers voted to pass amendments to Article 702, Unlawful Manufacture of Firearms, that place restrictions on rapid-fire devices—such as Glock switches and bump stocks—which allow guns to fire more rounds faster.
