$1 million-winning Powerball ticket sold in Lancaster County; the big jackpot is now at $1.3 billion for Wednesday night

NEW DANVILLE, Pa. — While the ultimate jackpot remains intact after Labor Day Weekend’s Powerball drawings, two tickets that won $1 million each were sold in Pennsylvania, including one in Lancaster County, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Tuesday.

For Saturday night’s drawing, a ticket sold at a Turkey Hill store on New Danville Pike in Pequea Township matched all five of the white balls drawn (3-18-22-27-33) but did not match the red Powerball (17). The ticket did, however, win its purchaser a cool $1 million prize and a $5,000 bonus for the store that sold it.

For Monday’s drawing, a Powerball ticket sold at an ACME Market in Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County also matched the five white balls (8-23-25-40-53) but not the red Powerball (5). The ticket won another $1 million prize for its owner and a $5,000 bonus to the retailer, the Lottery said…
