Neighbor busts out window to rescue driver after tanker flips in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A tanker driver has been left unscathed thanks to a nearby resident’s quick thinking Monday afternoon.

According to Refton Fire Company, crews were on scene around 6:53 p.m. after a tanker rolled over on the 1500 block of Beaver Valley Pike.

The fire chief with the department stated a neighbor was able to break out the windshield of the vehicle and rescue the driver before crews arrived…
