LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office has added to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s footprint in the region.
Records from the agency show the DA’s office signed a 287(g) agreement on Aug. 28. Such agreements delegate immigration enforcement authority to local law enforcement. So far, 39 law enforcement agencies in the state have signed 287(g) agreements.
