A Lancaster man, David Angel Dalmacy, 31, faces charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment after allegedly slashing another man’s face with a box cutter. The incident occurred last Wednesday (September 17) on the 800 block of North Queen Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
According to police, Dalmacy attacked the victim, an employee at Tri-County Barbecue Catering, around 9 a.m. The assault resulted in two significant cuts on the victim’s face: one nearly four inches long from the upper right cheek to the lip, and another about 1.5 inches long from the lower lip to the chin. Police found a black and orange box cutter with blood on the tip at the scene.
Dalmacy, who lives nearby, admitted to the attack when police arrived. He is currently held at Lancaster County Prison with bail set at $500,000. As of Friday, his court docket did not list an attorney. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 29…
